  • Senate Committee on Foreign Relations – Instrumental in developing and influencing United States foreign policy.  The committee has considered, debated, and reported important treaties and legislation.  It holds jurisdiction over all diplomatic nominations. (source:

The Committee performs an annual review of the intelligence budget submitted by the President and prepares legislation authorizing appropriations for the various civilian and military agencies and departments comprising the intelligence community. Stance: Rubio Praises Nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court

On January 31, 2017, Senator Rubio stated his favorable opinion of Judge Gorsuch and his intentions to vote to confirm his appointment to the Supreme Court in this press release.  He has not come out with any other public statements regarding Gorsuch’s nomination since then.
